Lincoln Door & Opener Co.

Many of the homes in our area were built decades ago, and their garage doors have been patched, adjusted and re-hung by more than one set of hands. We respect that history. Rather than judging what came before, we work out what the door needs now: a proper balance, matching springs, fresh rollers, a track that is straight and firmly anchored. Where a replacement genuinely makes more sense, we walk through the insulated, carriage-house and glass options with samples in hand. Older houses deserve the same careful attention as new builds, and we give it.

Shop rules

Solid doors for hard-working garages.

  1. Straight talk about the door. If a door has years left, we say so. If it is closer to the end, we say that too, and explain how we can tell.
  2. Respectful, careful work. We treat the garage as part of your home, protecting what is stored there and cleaning up completely afterwards.
  3. Time to decide. Nobody is rushed. You get the information, ask your questions, and we go ahead only when you are ready.
  4. Open 24/7, same fees any hour. Set up a visit

On every job

  1. Rule of the job1 of 3

    Reach out

Phone or form, whichever suits. Mention any unusual sounds, how long the trouble has gone on and whether the door still moves.

  2. Rule of the job2 of 3

    Inspect everything that moves

Springs, cables, drums, bearings, rollers, hinges, tracks and the opener drive are each checked, because a fault in one shows up in another.

  3. Rule of the job3 of 3

    Repair, test, tidy

The repair is completed with new parts, the door cycles several times under observation, and the workspace is cleaned before we go.

How a visit goes

Many of the homes we work in have doors older than the people living there. Extension springs without safety cables, wooden sections that have taken on water, openers made before safety sensors were standard.
